Description
Challenge: Imagine an airline from scratch that doesn’t compete on price or speed, but on human connection, collective well-being, and shared joy.
How do you create an airline that not only takes you from one place to another but makes you feel part of something bigger?
Story
JAMII means community in Swahili — and that’s exactly what it stands for: a new way of flying where the goal isn’t to arrive fast, but to arrive together, in harmony.
Inspired by the African philosophy of Ubuntu (“I am because we are”), JAMII is built on four pillars: collective well-being, collaboration, fluidity, and the spread of joy.
It’s not just a plane, it’s a space where you can let go, breathe, and flow. A place where design, service, and language are all crafted to care for you, connect you, and remind you that flying can be a light, human, and shared pleasure.
What We Did
Defined the brand purpose: to create travel experiences rooted in community and well-being. Designed a fluid and expressive visual identity with rounded shapes, warm colors, and movement. Built a brand voice that feels close, relaxed, and clever. Created an adaptable graphic system for screens, cabins, signage, packaging, and print materials.
Developed original illustrations, iconography, and typography that express joy and warmth without losing functionality.
Applied JAMII’s values in every detail from the boarding pass to the coffee served onboard.
A brand that doesn’t just take you far, but brings you closer to others.
